Expert: This Year Worst News Is Nay-Bandan Gas Exploitation
TEHRAN (IREN) – Experts believe the worst news for the country' nature within the past 12 months is the extraction of natural gas from Nay-Bandan gulf. According to Iren (Iran Non-Government Environment News Agency), university professor and environment expert, Esmaeil Kahrom, added that Nay-Bandan region is the first marine park in the country that unfortunately the former head of Iran Environment Protection Organization with her approval over the extraction of natural gas from the region singed a destruction process for the park.
